Those We Support:
SAMARITAN OUTREACH
The Samaritan Outreach Soup Kitchen serves as a vital pillar of support in Aberdeen, Eastern Cape, South Africa. Operating daily, the kitchen provides nourishing meals to approximately 150 individuals or more, including many children, all of whom come from the surrounding disadvantaged community. This essential service directly addresses food insecurity and offers a consistent source of comfort and sustenance to those in need. To achieve greater self-sustainability, the Outreach Mission is currently in need of resources to establish a vegetable planting program that will help cultivate fresh produce to meet the ongoing nutritional demands of the soup kitchen.
Aalwynhof Residential Facility
Aalwynhof: A 50-Year Legacy of Care
Aalwynhof is a central and cherished part of the Aberdeen community in the Eastern Cape, South Africa. For half a century, it has been a true home—a peaceful place where its elderly residents receive the care, dignity and love they deserve in their golden years. The home’s commitment is unwavering: to provide an exceptional standard of service to every resident.
A Critical Need for Support
The financial strains imposed by challenging socio-economic circumstances mean that Aalwynhof’s current operational costs are outpacing its local fundraising efforts. This significant daily financial pressure threatens the very stability of the home and its ability to continue delivering the vital care the residents rely on. Aalwynhof urgently calls upon friends and partners to help meet its essential financial needs and safeguard this crucial home for the aged.
